Materials & Tools
Plywood Sheet: 4ft × 8ft (standard size, ¾" thickness recommended).
Supplies: Wood screws, wood glue, brackets, sandpaper, paint/stain (optional).
Tools: Circular saw, drill, measuring tape, clamps, screwdriver.
Cutting Plan
Maximize the plywood sheet to minimize waste:
Tabletop:
1 × (3ft × 2ft)
Cut from the 4ft × 8ft sheet.
Remaining plywood: 4ft × 6ft (after cutting 2ft width for the tabletop).
Legs (4 pieces):
4 × (2.5ft × 4in)
Cut from leftover plywood.
How:Cut two 4" wide strips from the 4ft × 6ft remnant.
Each 4" × 6ft strip yields two 2.5ft legs (total 4 legs).
Aprons/Supports (stabilize the table):
2 × (3ft × 3in) for long sides.
2 × (2ft × 3in) for short sides.
Cut from leftover plywood.
Assembly Steps
Attach Legs to Aprons:
Screw the 2.5ft legs to the aprons (3" height) to form a rectangular frame.
Reinforce with brackets for stability.
Attach Tabletop:
Secure the 3ft × 2ft plywood top to the apron-leg frame using screws and wood glue.
Finishing:
Sand edges and surfaces. Paint or stain as desired.

Notes
Adjust dimensions if you prefer a taller/shorter desk (standard height: 28–30" or 2.3–2.5ft).
Use plywood edge banding for a polished look.
Add diagonal braces or shelves for extra stability/storage.
